A home group meets most Wednesday evenings. The aim of home groups is to build community, study the Bible together, pray and support each other and explore how to apply God’s Word in practical mission in our village. If you would like to join a group, please email the church office.
WCC Homegroup #1
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month (and the 5th Wednesday if there is one in the month). Please contact us to find out our venue, where we start at 7.45 for coffee, 8.00 for the meeting itself, finishing no later than 9.30.
Whilst our numbers do vary, we are a group of up to 15 people who are regulars at the group. Our evenings vary in format but normally include Bible study and prayer. Recent study series include the Lords Prayer, Fruitfulness on the Frontline and we have just started a series on heaven. Occasionally we arrange social evenings , the recent LINKEE evening was a great success and a Christmas meal is planned. Each time we meet we share prayer requests, including praying for those who are unable to attend, and aim to support each other practically, spiritually and prayerfully through the week. If you would like to know more about the group please speak to Stephen Spare.
WCC Homegroup #2
We meet fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 for Bible study, prayer and fellowship and occasionally for a shared meal. We welcome new members and seek to support one another practically and in prayer. We share prayer news from members of the group who’d like to attend but can’t make it- so welcome those who know they can’t often come along to an evening meeting
We move our meetings around a bit, although often meet at Karen and Steven’s home, so if you are interested in coming along, please email Margaret Evans and she will let you know where the next one will be held. This is a hybrid homegroup, with the option to join remotely via Zoom.
